- They have relied on your financial support since before turning
22, and
- They have a physical or mental condition that prevents them from
being financially self-sufficient.
Eligibility
Requirements for Sponsors
- Citizenship Status: You
must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident currently
living in Canada.
- Age: You must be at least 18 years old.
- Financial Stability: You
must be able to demonstrate financial stability to support your child's
basic needs.
- Criminal and Legal Status: You
cannot be in prison, charged with a serious offense, or be declared
bankrupt.
