- Entrepreneur Streams: $2,000 application fee
Previously, applying for a provincial nomination under these streams was completely free.

Which Immigration Streams Are Affected?
The new NSNP application fee will apply to applicants selected under:
- Skilled Worker Stream
- Nova Scotia Graduate Stream
- Nova Scotia Express Entry Stream
Entrepreneurs applying through the following pathways will pay $2,000:
- Purchase of a New Business
- Purchase of an Existing Business
- International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream
The good news? Submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) remains free.
Who Will Need to Pay the New Fee?
Not everyone will be affected.
The new fees only apply to candidates selected from the EOI pool on or after September 1, 2026.
